Limited contract negotiations began Wednesday, May 20th, between Eastern Michigan University and the EMU Federation of Teachers. The University presented its health care proposals. The EMU Federation of Teachers negotiating team will present the University's proposals to the full EMUFT Executive Board at their regular board meeting May 21.
These limited negotiations cover articles XVI (Compensation), XVIII (Benefits), XXVI (Duration) of the 2005 contract.
The EMU Federation of Teachers negotiating team consists of Russell D. Jones (lead), John Wegner, Lisa Laverty, Kelly Victor Burke, and Alyssa Piccard.
